“Legislating Successful Communities”

Washington Metropolitan Chapter of Community Association Institute (WMCCAI) invites you to join Fairfax County and Virginia elected representatives and Fairfax homeowners for a conversation about legislating for successful communities – in the community, in the County, and in the State.
The conversation will include a discussion about the impact of state legislative activity on Fairfax County and Fairfax community associations, the role of community association leaders in the legislative process, and strategies for working most effectively with elected representatives to ensure good governance, effective administration and efficient operation – essential ingredients of successful communities.
Join State Senator David Marsden, State Delegate David Bulova, Fairfax County Supervisors John Cook and Jeff McKay, and homeowners Michelle Olsen and Chris Soule for this interactive discussion moderated by community association professionals William A. Marr and Lucia Anna (Pia) Trigiani.
Join us at the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Board Auditorium at the Government Center from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on October 2, 2017.  This program is not going to be aired live on Channel 16 on the night of the event.  It will be replayed at a later date. Please check the WMCCAI social media channels for an announcement of when it will air.
